During NPI the customer must stay reachable for real-time decisions, name a single technical and a single business contact, respond to DFM/DFT findings within 48 hours, and approve First Article results in writing before production is authorized.

- Respond to Amtech DFM/DFT findings within 48 hours to avoid schedule slip
- Approve or reject First Article results in writing before production is authorized
- Provide reference boards or golden samples if available
- Confirm test fixtures are ready before NPI build — don’t discover test coverage gaps during FAI
