Work Instructions & Special Processes

Any non-standard assembly step requires a written work instruction (e.g., manual solder, cable routing, epoxy application)
Conformal coating: specify coat type (acrylic, urethane, silicone), thickness, and masked areas
Potting / encapsulation: specify material, cure schedule, and fill level
Torque specs: provide for all mechanical fasteners
Label/serialization: provide label artwork, serial number format, and placement spec
